Can anyone please tell what causes eye infections and how to treat them? My eye is feeling a bit irritated and i want to see what actually helps it clear up.

I woke up with this sore stye on my eyelid and im trying to figure out what i can do thats safe, and pretty much how to calm it down as fast as possible, like overnight. Can someone please help me to get rid of a stye overnight?
