Boiled eggs, banana oat shake, apple, and dry fruits are some pre-workout meal options that you can consider.

For me, the thing that really works with a pre-workout meal is keeping it simple and easy on my stomach , not eating something mega heavy. I tend to look for a mix of carbs for quick fuel, and a bit of protein so I don’t feel drained halfway through the session

If I’m eating like 1–2 hours before training, I usually stick to a few reliable combos like

    Banana with peanut butter
Oats, plus banana and a small drizzle of honey
    Eggs with toast
    Greek yogurt with fruit
Rice with a modest portion of chicken or eggs, if I actually have a little more time before I train

When I’m rushed, I’ll often just grab a banana, a couple of dates, or toast with honey around 30–45 minutes before I start moving

Also, hydration honestly makes a bigger difference than I thought. I try to drink enough water across the day instead of saving it all for right before training

One thing I avoid is a greasy, or overly high-fiber meal right before I work out. That kind of food can leave me feeling kinda weighed down and uncomfortable, like my body is busy dealing with it

And yeah, a pre-workout meal won’t automatically keep you energetic all day. Your regular meals, sleep, water intake, and your overall calories plus carbs matter way more for the long run. I’d just play around with timing and portion size until you find that sweet spot where you feel strong, but not stuffed or overly full
