What are the symptoms and causes of fifths disease?
I have heard that fifth disease is a common viral infection, especially in children. What are its main symptoms, and what causes it? How does it spread, and when should someone seek medical attention?

Fifth disease is a common viral infection caused by parvovirus B19. Symptoms include mild fever, headache, runny nose, fatigue, and a “slapped-cheek” rash, followed by a lacy body rash. Adults may also experience joint pain. It spreads mainly through respiratory droplets.
